Day 5

Les Domaines Ott Château de Selle / Carl Fredrik Svenstedt Architect | CFSA

Hi guys, 

Today's project is a little different topic for me, I don't consume alcohol, so I'm not familiar with the process of making it, but I really needed a glass of wine today that I why I decided to analyze a winery. 

The winery takes place in the south of France, It settles between terraced vineyards overlooking the historic Chateau de Selle area. Designing a winery implements being familiar with the process, That starts with providing space for collecting and unloading the delivered grapes, another space for stainless steel tanks and oak barrels for the fermentation and aging processes, and last, a space for the bottling machines.




Well, Know that you are familiar, let's get into the project.

The project's element of excitement is stone, as the project location is between mountains and trees, the stone completed the scene creating a sense of the surroundings. The horizontal sense of the winery is created through two walls made of stone. the stone block shifts Its direction according to the light, view, and ventilation. 



By analyzing the ground floor plan we can see that's the functions of the building is aligned according to the wine-making process.

Friendship Hospital Satkhira / Kashef Chowdhury/URBANA hello people, First, let give ArchDaily a thanks note for their featured building today. After hopeless days finally, today's building is interested. It was my first time reading about a building in Bangladesh. St. Andrews Girls Hostel / Zero Energy Design Lab Hello, ambitious who started the week doing sport.  hope you're feeling healthy! Today I started learning kickboxing, unsurprisingly I'm writing to you people using two fingers only :'). so I decided to hear my body and take the rest of the evening off.  But I had already started something.   let's see!  Today's project takes place in India's industrial and technological hub. Gurugram held in many universities and institutions which resulted in the need for dorms. This one hosts rooms for 130 female students. The main concept is to create a public space facade - a smaller scale of the Pompidou center - and connect it to different common shared function that is distributed along with the different levels.  The project is really interesting but has a lot of technical principles that I cannot conduct know. The facade is made out of brick that rotates according to the sun to create thermal and visual comfort space....
