The boat interior was designed in a way to adopt different events such as a church, art classes, and live music events. Fuster House / arqbag ➨  Function : House ➨  Location: La Noguera, Spain ➨  Area:  359 m2 Hello artists, Hope you're following your instinct.  Today we will be looking at a restoration project that takes place in an old Catalonian village, The village that is known for its stone house has been facing a lot of collapsing problems, therefore the need of restoring these houses and preserving their cultural value was emergent.   Let's start  The existing building is located around an old fortified town square, It was declared as local heritage, therefore, the challenge was to design a house with respect to the pre-exciting elements like the load-bearing stone walls.  The solution that the architects followed was to design an inside concrete box that supports the stone walls, the box was designed in a grid of six small boxes that connected the four facades. It's the new headquarters of Schindler company. It aims to overcome the sense of isolation that characterizes industrial facilities by emphasizing the integration of human-scale landscape elements and public space.  The major design element is that continuous podium on the ground floor, the unified structure connects the research center and the 3 office buildings. Today's project was recommended by a friend. She said "It's just the place that I want to be at right now", After searching and reading about the project I agreed with her. Well, In fact, the project's main idea was to create a getaway for artists to come together and produce art away from the Metropole of Mumbai.  Although the site was in a rural area, It still creates a relationship with the skyline of the Metropole. The site was divided into 3 zones that contain temporary structures. To respond to the environment of the site many principles were applied, like the artificial pond and the lifting of the building.
