Face, Pool, Two Towers, and Ruin Installation / Paradigma Ariadné
➨ Function: Temporary Installations
➨ Location: Veszprem, Hungary
➨ Area: 20 m2
Hello, winter,
Please show yourself,
Today's project was a little different, It's a response to the failed urban developments in Veszprem city, the architect accepts these failures and the grey, sad and soulless buildings that resulted from it, as they explain that accepting the problem is the first step to solve it or maybe play along with it. So as these soulless modern buildings are not going anyway, it's time to start accepting them as part of the city, apart they shouldn't be neglected but played with it.
Soulless buildings |
The project is made of five portable urban artifacts, artifacts that aren't defined by their functions but their types and presence.
The main purpose of these artifacts was to create spaces that host different moments, spaces we miss in modern cities, spaces like corners in old cities, you know those corners where we plan to meet, where we stop to cry, and where we stole a picture of a random cat.
