Hello runners,
Stop and take a minute to breathe.
Today is the second blog on Netflix series; The world's most extraordinary homes. I'm really enjoying being able to see videos from inside the houses before analyzing them, It changes the game. Sometimes the picture can't represent the spirit of the place. Therefore videos are amazing.
Let's get into the project.
The project takes place in Hiroshima; the city is known for its urban community, big boulevards, extensive buildings, and of course car noise. The clients asked for a sanctuary away from the dynamic city. Therefore, the architect's primary principle was to create a calm and relaxing house by using lights, nature, and different city scenery.
The architects translated their principle into architectural elements, the key design element was a handmade glass brick wall, the wall blocks the noise and offers a soft light creating a comfortable space along with the green terrace in the facade.
