Hello people,
Hope you're liking the new segments.

Personally, I've been enjoying the idea of giving this blog an order. After " The world's most extraordinary homes" and "Arab women in architecture" segments, today we will bring back the "60-minute challenge". If you're new to the blog, the 60-minute challenge means that I need to choose, analyze, visualize, and write about the project in only 60 minutes.

I really wanted to cheat and re-draw my small sketches, but I had no time to do that so you need to bear up with the real sketches that I draw when I try to understand a project :) 

Let's get into the project.

Today's project is a re-using of an old school site. After restoring the old building to held in a gym, the city's municipal wanted to use the rest of the site to create a new open space experience for the residents. 


The site is 3m beneath the street level. Therefore the main idea was to transform the fragmented landscape into a slope that offers different scenes of the city. This way the architects transformed the public bath into an urban experience.

Project 71 - The Floating Church

The Floating Church / Denizen Works ➨  Function : Church ➨  Location:  London, England ➨  Area:  45 m2 Hello sad people Don't lose your hope.  Today's project is a little different, It doesn't have a site but a mission, It's a boat that aims to connect community centers along the canal, every 5 years the boat will change its site and will sail in front of one of the 5 community centers that take place along the canal. The boat interior was designed in a way to adopt different events such as a church, art classes, and live music events.
